What Is Jesus Doing and Where Is He Doing It?

This is quick and simple. I’m curious as to what you’ll write.

Think of Jesus in Scripture. What is He doing? Where is He doing it?

I’m going to leave my answer in the comment section but here’s a hint.

This is a place connected to my favorite Bible story (found in John 9).

    The place in the picture is the Pool of Siloam. Two places come to mind almost immediately. The first is Jesus standing with the disciples who are admiring the Temple. A blind man begs near them. Jesus is at first correcting the disciples about God’s purposes and human sin. Then He’s smearing mud on the blind man’s eyes and sending him to the Pool of Siloam to wash.

    The second is the wilderness. Jesus is fasting and praying to the Father in preparation for His earthly ministry and He’s resisting the devil’s temptations.

    Jesus is standing out in the storm on the water, calling Peter to get out of the boat.

    Jesus is alone in the early morning, having a much needed conversation with his Father…often.

    He is in the suburbs and the inner cities, healing thousands of people. Most of which never even become his disciples. Talk about unconditional love…

      Good thought about the nature of Jesus’ love. It reflects the generous character of our God. I’m reminded of Jesus’ words describing the Father. “He makes the rain to fall and the sun to shine on both the good and the evil.”
